On Tuesday 3rd February Fay Coffey (Trustee) and Clare Donohoe (Co-ordinator) from Pulmonary Fibrosis NI were out raising awareness at the CAFRE Student Wellbeing Day at Greenmount Campus, Antrim.
We were delighted to speak with so many students and staff who stopped by our stand to learn more about pulmonary fibrosis. While only one person had previously heard of PF, it turned out to be a powerful and meaningful connection, she is the daughter of Shauna, one of our amazing PFNI Ambassadors.
Pulmonary fibrosis is still largely unknown, and every conversation helps shine a light on a condition that affects so many families.
A huge thank you to CAFRE for having us and to everyone who took the time to stop, listen, and ask questions.
