As a very close friend of David Coffey, and having himself Prostate Cancer in 2019, Gordon decided to raise money for PFNI and Prostate UK charities.
Gordon completed the challenge on 30th November 2025 at Dundrum Coastal Rowing Club cheered on by club members and Fay Coffey (Trustee) from PFNI. Donations will close in February 2026. The amount raised currently stands at £3503.00 to be shared equally between both Charities.
